Characteristics of Curriculum
• Apart from our own faculty, a number of teachers from Department of Life-and-Death Studies, Department of Philosophy, Department of Literature, and College of Social Sciences also hold courses in the Institute to ensure the multiplicity of courses.
• The comparative studies between eastern religions (such as Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Taiwanese folk religion) and western religions are conducted.
• There is an emphasis on religious methodology and Buddhist scriptural languages to have our students well-prepared for higher research works.
